I was a little shocked when I took a closer look at our toothpastes. My Elmex toothpaste contains the following ingredients: Aqua, Water, Hydrated Silica, Sorbitol, Hydroxyethylcellulose, Olaflur, Titanium Dioxide, Saccharin, Aroma.
I didn’t like the fluoride part and neighter did I appreciate the word “aroma”. I was even more worried when I discovered that other toothpastes lying around in our bathroom, contain PEG and sulfate. Continue reading

As I’ve told you twice in old posts (reasons and routine > click on the links below), from 6. January until 2. March 2014 I didn’t use any shampoo on my hair.
I gave up shampoo for two months. It was a very greasy period for my hair and neighter did it feel good nor did it look nice. I thought it would just be the transition period.

I love to watch essiebuttonvlogs. Aslan and Estée are just hilarious!
In one video, Aslan cooks a meal, as awsome as ever. I totally wanted to copy it, so that’s what my boyfriend and I did.
It’s a herby, peanutty, noodly salad
I have had dandruff since I remember washing my hair.
The problem has increased in the last two months or so. I have switched to Lush’s “Fair trade honey shampoo” in the impression that it was a clean choice. It claims to be “preservative free” and therefor, I thought it to be wonderful. I didn’t look close, though. It contains a bunch of really dirty ingredients: Sodium Laureth Sulfate (Sulfates) and Cocamide DEA. Those have both proven to be carcinogenes.
I have wondered why I recently struggled with far more dandruff than before. Is it the radiators that really dry out your roots? Or is my dandruff actually a rash, the consequence of the harsh ingredients of my shampoo? Continue reading
